SKDRDP is trying to act as a bridge between the lab
and the land. It is making efforts to bring science and technology to the
doorsteps of the poor with special reference to small and marginal
farmers.
For this purpose the field level workers are
continuously trained on simple cropping techniques. Each project is
provided with exclusive services of agricultural and dairy technologists
to meet the technology requirements.
The project offices take help from the local
government line departments, research institutions to gather and transfer
information. Various extension programmes help the stakeholders in
