The introduction of various income generation activities by SKDRDP has created renewed buoyancy in the rural areas. Required finances are also made available at the doorstep of the poor through a well-knit microfinance programmes. However, poor are unable to take-up viable self ventures for want of proper information on the activities, necessary skills, capacities for up scaling the efficiency and entrepreneurial skills. They also lack a backup support to test their raw materials and finished goods and to get information on latest technologies.

Keeping these aspects in mind and to give the much needed fillip to the rural group enterprises, two renowned institutions working predominately with the people have joined hands to develop a new curriculum for promoting rural entrepreneurship.

Shri Kshethra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project ® SKDRDP has entered into a partnership with M/s Bhoruka Charities managed by Shri S.N. Agarwal, the Chairman of TCI – Bhoruka group of companies to establish “Bhoruka – SKDRDP Centre for Rural Excellence” (CRE).
