SIRI is a unique concept promoted for providing the much needed backward and forward linkages for rural women for faking up various farm and non form income generation activities. Registered under Section (25) of Companies Act , SIRI is a non profit distributing, having its head office at Belthangady, SIRI provides the following to rural women

Motivation for faking individual and group enterprises.

Providing entrepreneurial and technical inputs to the groups.

facilitating to avail financial assistance to start the enterprise.

Assisting in purchase of machineries, construction of work sheds, etc.

Locating the raw material suppliers buy in bulk and supply to groups.

SIRI has facilitated good business through the SHGs during the year 003-04. SIRI has been developed as a sustainable venture and has attracted visitors from far and wide to study the SIRI project.
