Urban Community Development Project was flagged off in Sept. 2002, aimed empowering and improving the standard of living of the BPL families and the slum dwellers. Urban poverty and slums are closely linked and hence the programmes are based on the needs of the slum dwellers. If promotes Ms among urban 8PL families, create awareness on health & hygiene, solid waste management. Construction of Low Cost Sanitation units is a major component of the project.

Performance of programme

  • Create awareness against alcoholic abuse.

  • Motivate people to progress without liquor consumption. 

  • Prevent youngsters from falling pray to alcoholic consumption.
