SKDRDP has
experienced that absence of employment opportunities and lack
of skills posed as the major constraints for the poor to
improve their standard of living. This has paved way to the
livelihood activities programme, which promotes various
income-generating activities. 342 self employment training
were conducted with 3336 participants this year. The year saw
rise in the income generating activities in farm and the
non-farm sector resulting in the increased income of its
stakeholders. 2933 members have taken up Income Generating
Activities after undergoing training conducted by the project.
