Story of Mamatha

Mamatha joined Sainath Self Help Group promoted by SKDRDP in Sonandoor village in the year 2000. Mamatha and her husband Ramesh had a small hotel in the outskirts of the village. The income they got from selling coffee, idlis and sajjige bajil were barely sufficient to make their both ends meet.

Mamatha consulted other members in her group as what she can do to improve her condition

President's Special Program

Under President’s Special Program the following activities were conducted:

1. Solar lighting system was installed for the Pre-University College, Aranthod, Sullia Taluk worth Rs. 1.00 lakh.
2. 1,500 desk benches distributed to the schools of Davangere district worth Rs. 51.00 lakh.
3. Agricultural equipments worth Rs. 18.19 lakhs were distributed in Belgaum district
